Tiny Realms Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-08-05
This Privacy Policy describes how Tiny Realms ("the Application") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the app. Tiny Realms is published by cryingmybest.
Information We Collect
- Game progress. Heroes, gold, gems, zone progress, daily streak and quests are stored locally on your device only. We never upload them.
- Technical data via advertising SDK. Google AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP address, app events, and other technical signals to serve ads. See Google's policies linked below.
- Crash reports and gameplay analytics (Android only). The Android app sends crash reports and a small set of anonymous gameplay events to Sentry. See "Crash Reporting & Analytics" below for exactly what is collected. The web version of Tiny Realms does not include Sentry and sends no crash or analytics data anywhere.
- User-provided support information. Only if you email us at the address below.
How We Use Information
- Provide core app functionality (saving your game, scheduling local notifications you opted into).
- Improve reliability and performance, including diagnosing crashes.
- Deliver in-app rewarded video and banner advertising via Google AdMob.
Crash Reporting & Analytics (Android only)
On Android, Tiny Realms uses Sentry — operated by Functional Software, Inc. — to report crashes and a small set of anonymous gameplay events. This section does not apply to the web version of Tiny Realms, which does not include Sentry and sends no crash or analytics data anywhere.
- Crash reports. JavaScript errors, unhandled promise rejections, and native (NDK) crashes, together with device model, OS version, and app version. We do not send your name, email, or any other personal identifier with crash reports, and we never attach a user ID. We do not collect performance traces or session replays.
- Gameplay breadcrumbs attached to reports. A short trail of recent in-app events is attached to help us reproduce a crash — things like the zone you're on, shard/eternal-stone counts, which hero, milestone thresholds reached, which ad placement was shown, purchase result codes, the Remove-Ads product ID, and the save-file schema version. Every one of these values is a number or a fixed code from a closed list — never free-form text and never anything you type or enter into the game.
- Standalone analytics events. A few gameplay milestones — ascending, eternal-ascending, completing a purchase, and the first time you hit a difficulty wall in a session — are also sent to Sentry on their own (not just as breadcrumbs on a crash), carrying the same anonymous, numbers-and-codes-only data described above.
- Purchase events. We record only that a purchase succeeded or failed and which product it was for. We never send the price, a receipt, a purchase token, or a transaction ID.
Data sent to Sentry is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and is retained under Sentry's standard data retention practices — see sentry.io/privacy.
Third-Party Services
- Google AdMob — advertising. policies.google.com/privacy
- Google Play Services — ad ID, billing (if you purchase Remove Ads).
- Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.) — crash reporting and gameplay analytics, Android only. sentry.io/privacy
Data Retention
Game progress lives only on your device until you uninstall the app or use the in-app "Reset progress" button. We do not retain any data on our servers because we do not operate any. Crash reports and analytics events sent to Sentry are retained by Sentry under its own retention policy (see the link above); we do not separately store or export that data.
Children's Privacy
Tiny Realms is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information
from children under 13. Ads served are configured with
requestNonPersonalizedAdsOnly: true when applicable.
Security
Reasonable safeguards are used to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration. Because game progress never leaves your device, the strongest control is your own device security.
Your Choices
- Disable local notifications anytime in Settings → Daily notifications.
- Mute audio in Settings → Sound.
- Reset all progress in Settings → Reset progress.
- Revoke ad tracking via your device's ad-ID settings.
- Crash reporting and gameplay analytics run automatically on Android and don't have a separate in-app toggle; uninstalling the app stops all further collection.
- Uninstall the app to permanently remove all locally stored data.
